| LOS ANGELES (January 18, 2005) - emuse Inc, the United States division of Dublin-based emuse technologies, announces the appointment of Tim McHugh as sales manager, Americas, with responsibility for all regional sales activities.
McHugh brings with him a strong background in sales of automated design software obtained from holding the sales account manager position at Magma Design Automation, of Santa Clara, Calif., a leading developer and provider of design automation software for the semiconductor industry.
`Tim is coming on board at a very exciting time for us. As a company, we have begun to see the rewards of our market leadership in the creation and deployment of single-screen interactive television advertisements and program applications built using the Modelstream® suite of iTV tools,` said emuse CEO and founder, Patrick Rainsford. `Tim is a highly experienced and successful sales professional who will greatly benefit our American sales initiative,` added Rainsford.
Over the past 18 months, no other application developer has successfully built and deployed more single-screen interactive advertisements than emuse. In addition, the company has recently built and deployed two of the most successful, live, primetime `play-along` game show applications ever broadcast in the United Kingdom.
